Here’s how SKIMS Kids fits your child compared to other brands you might be considering, so you know before it’s in your cart.
Find your child’s SKIMS Kids size on the left. Twins wear the same number the same way — your size carries straight over. Strangers use the same number but cut it shorter or longer, so don’t trust the label alone.
Where labels drift. The exceptions are the “strangers” above — e.g. at size 7, MarMar Copenhagen, Converse Kids, Levi's Kids cut the same number differently. Check those before you trust the label.
Bottom line: for most sizes, a SKIMS Kids number is a safe bet elsewhere — measure once, then double-check only the handful of “stranger” brands above.

This is what parents report anecdotally — crowd sentiment, not a Little & Youth determination. Our sizing above is computed from SKIMS Kids’ own published chart; the notes here come from public parent discussion.
SKIMS’ kids pieces lean small, and the trouble is almost always the top. The October 2026 Kids Collection is too new to have shopper reviews yet, but SKIMS has sold kids loungewear and pajamas since its 2020 Cozy Kids drop, and about 220 parents and gift-givers have reviewed those pieces on SKIMS’ own site. Plenty say the fit is fine, but when a problem is named it runs one way: pajama and pointelle tops come up short, close to cropped, with snug sleeves, while the pants sit loose at the waist or long in the leg — so sizing up to fix the top can leave the bottoms baggy. The older Cozy Knit pants ran long, and SKIMS’ own product copy told shoppers to order them a size down, per two reviewers. The fabric is the draw: soft, stretchy and ‘buttery’ is the near-universal verdict, though the sleep-set knit is lightweight rather than warm and a few report pilling or shedding. Launch coverage describes the new cotton tees and flannel pants as a relaxed cut; until parents weigh in on those, the pajama pattern is the best guide.

Find my child’s size →Shop SKIMS Kids ↗Small, mostly in the top. Across about 90 parent reviews that comment on fit, about as many say it fits fine as say it runs small, but the specific complaints are one-sided: pajama and pointelle tops are short and snug in the sleeves, while pants are roomy at the waist or long. Few say anything runs big, and those are mostly about the pants.
Many parents do, especially for the two-piece sleep sets and pointelle sets, and the ones who sized up are usually happier with the top. The trade-off is baggier pants, so size up if your child is tall, long-waisted or between sizes, and stay put if the waist is what you care about.
It is too new to say. The fleece hoodies, joggers, cotton tees and pajamas launched on October 26, 2026, and none had appeared in SKIMS’ review feed when this was written. Launch coverage describes the cotton long-sleeve tee as a relaxed fit with drop shoulders; check SKIMS’ chart against your child’s height and chest rather than assuming the older pajama fit carries over.
Yes, one batch. In May 2024 the CPSC announced a recall of about 1,200 SKIMS fleece button-up kids pajama sets in several colorways, sold November 2023 through January 2024, because they failed federal flammability rules for children’s sleepwear. Owners were offered a full refund.
For softness, most reviewers say yes, and 5-star reviews dominate. Value complaints cluster around fit: when a top comes up short, parents feel the price more. One parent stocked up on bigger sizes before a print sold out.
SKIMS Kids publishes height, chest, waist, hip in its size chart. Height is the primary driver, and the chest/waist figures let you confirm body fit for a child between sizes.
SKIMS Kids’ socks are sized by shoe size, not age — buy for your child’s current shoe size, and if they fall between two ranges choose the smaller so the sock stays up. See how every kids’ shoe brand runs and how wide each is cut on our kids’ shoe sizing guide.
SKIMS Kids is sold on its own site and through select retailers.
