Measurements you enter. Height, weight, chest, waist, hips, inseam, foot length and width, and head circumference for a child you're shopping for. These are used only to compute size recommendations. If you are not signed in, they stay on your device for the current session and are not stored on our servers. If you create an account and save a profile, we store that profile so you can reuse it (see "Accounts" below).
Email address — only if you give it. You can optionally give us an email address to (a) be notified when a new feature launches, (b) attach to feedback you send, or (c) create an account. We use it only for the purpose you gave it for.
Feedback and feature votes. If you use the feedback panel or the feature survey, we store your ratings, any free-text comments, and (if provided) your email, so we can improve the product.
A device identifier for de-duplication. We store a random ID in a first-party cookie (ly_voter_id) so that repeat feedback or votes from the same browser update your earlier response instead of double-counting. It contains no personal information on its own.
Basic analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic — pages viewed, rough device type, referring site. This is not used to identify you.
We do not collect payment information (we don't sell products directly), and we don't ask for names, addresses, or birthdates.
Little & Youth is intended for use by parents, caregivers, and other adults — not by children. The measurements you enter describe a child, but they are provided by an adult and are not tied to a child's name, contact details, or identity. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with advertisers. Advertisers cannot pay to influence our recommendations.
If you create an account (via a one-time email sign-in link), we store the email you sign in with and any child profiles you save. You can view, edit, or delete your saved profiles at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account entirely by contacting us.
Some links to brand websites are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects which brands or sizes we recommend — sizing is matched solely from each brand's published chart and the measurements you provide.
We use a small number of service providers to run the site — our hosting and analytics provider, our backend/database provider, and, once launched, an email delivery provider for notifications. They process data only to provide their service to us. Links out to brand retailers are governed by those retailers' own privacy policies.
ly_voter_id cookie in your browser anytime; the site still works.Depending on where you live (for example, California/CCPA or the EU/UK/GDPR), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Contact us and we'll honor applicable requests.
Session measurements are discarded when your session ends. Saved profiles, feedback, and email sign-ups are kept until you ask us to delete them or the account is closed.
We use reputable providers and standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls on stored data). No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you share.
