Here’s how Mori fits your child compared to other brands you might be considering, so you know before it’s in your cart.
Find your child’s Mori size on the left. Twins wear the same number the same way — your size carries straight over. Strangers use the same number but cut it shorter or longer, so don’t trust the label alone.

Where the number just works. At newborn, 6-9M, 9-12M, 24-36M, 36-48M, 6-7y and more, Mori lines up with every brand we track — the size carries straight over.
Where labels drift. The exceptions are the “strangers” above — e.g. at size 12-18m, Hatley, Quincy Mae, Rylee + Cru cut the same number differently. Check those before you trust the label.
Bottom line: for most sizes, a Mori number is a safe bet elsewhere — measure once, then double-check only the handful of “stranger” brands above.

This is what parents report anecdotally — crowd sentiment, not a Little & Youth determination. Our sizing above is computed from Mori’s own published chart; the notes here come from public parent discussion.
Mori’s fit splits by category: the baby sleepsuits and everyday basics mostly run true to size, while the newer kids’ two-piece pajama sets run snug to small — tightest in the sleeves. Across close to 200 reviewers on Mori’s own site who commented on the fit of Mori’s own clothing, the Clever Zip sleepsuits, bodysuits, joggers and sleep bags draw ‘true to size’ most often, with a sizeable group finding them roomy and plenty sizing up on purpose for longevity, since the bamboo-and-organic-cotton fabric is stretchy and soft enough to wear long. The pajama sets are a different story, and Mori says so itself: it describes them as ‘snug-fitting’ and its Snug Fit rompers as ‘snug fit for safety’, and in 2025–26 reviews of those sets, most parents who mentioned fit said the top or sleeves were too tight, some even after going up a size. Shrinking comes up only a handful of times, once after a low tumble dry, and is outnumbered by parents saying pieces wash well. Softness is the near-universal praise; it’s mid-range on price and a frequent gift buy.

Find my child’s size →Shop Mori ↗It depends on the piece. Baby sleepsuits, bodysuits, joggers and sleep bags mostly fit true to size, and some find them roomy. The two-piece kids’ pajama sets are cut snug on purpose and recent reviews say they often run small, especially in the sleeves.
For the two-piece kids’ sets, many parents now do — several found the top tight in the labelled size, and a few found it tight even a size up, so check the height range and lean bigger for a sturdy or tall child. For the Clever Zip sleepsuits, the usual size generally works, and sizing up just adds wear time.
Rarely, going by reviews — a handful report shrinkage, one after a low tumble dry, while many more say the pieces wash well and stay soft. Follow the care label and skip the dryer to be safe.
Most families find them true to size with a generous width. A minority found the jelly sandals and canvas trainers short in length, so go up if your child is between sizes. They’re sized in UK sizes, so measure the foot and check Mori’s chart.
Generally yes — ‘too wide’ is a far more common complaint than ‘too narrow’, and parents of chunky feet often say the canvas trainers and jellies fit where other brands didn’t. Narrow-footed children may slip around in them.
