Robeez Soft Soles run true to size with room built in — and the walking lines are cut closer. On Zappos’ fit surveys, most buyers rate the soft-sole moccasins and booties true to size (68–83% across three styles) and nearly all rate them true to width, and Robeez itself says Soft Soles sizing is ‘roomy to accommodate different feet sizes and allow for growing feet.’ That roominess is where the ‘runs big’ reviews come from: a steady minority found a pair too long for now and either waited a month or two or exchanged down. The Fisherman sandal is the outlier, with only 47% calling it true to size and most fit comments saying big. The First Kicks walking shoes go the other way — Robeez describes ‘adult shoe-like sizing’ and a ‘snug, narrower fit.’ The point parents agree on is that they stay on: the elastic ankle keeps them on kicking, crawling babies where cheaper pairs fall off, though a few chubby-legged babies found that elastic tight enough to leave a mark.
